In 2012 Third Eye Guitars® started as a spin-off of Custom77® to focus on Metal oriented guitars. At the same time, Eric from Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, who was already using Custom77® guitars for some time, asked us for a baritone model to fit his new tuning.
Eric from Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! in 2010
- featuring Custom77® guitar
The London's Burning was the first baritone guitar from 3YE and it quickly gained a reputation for its high quality and reliability, on stage and in the studio.
Joey Sturgis - Producer of Asking Alexandria, Devil Wears Prada...
- featuring London's Burning Baritone guitar
Eric and Kyle Black - Producer of Paramore, New Found Glory, All Time Low...
- featuring London's Burning Baritone guitar
From that, Third Eye Guitars® decided to go further and work on a more personal model for Eric. It took months and many prototypes to achieve the Lust For Life - Baritone. The success was tremendous!
Since then, Third Eye Guitars® has become synonymous with original designs and the baritone scale.
This is why endorsement matters so much to us. Whatever knowledge, skills or artistic talent we have as designers and luthiers, we are nothing without the input of an artist.
- A guitar is a tool. A tool that has to be reliable, efficient and beautiful.
But in the end a tool is nothing without the talent of an artist.
We offer different levels of endorsements depending on how much you tour, the size of your fanbase, your presence on social media etc...
There are no rules. We can fall in love with a small artists, see the potential, or refuse big artists, because they seem to always switch from one guitar manufacturer to another.
What we want is to build a longtime relationship!
Besides discounts on instruments, here is a non exhaustive list of what we offer:
- Artist will featured on our website's Artists Page
- Photos featuring our instrument will be reposted on social media
- Videos featuring our instrument will be reposted on social media
- Artist's major news, like album releases, large tour announcements, etc..., will be reposted on social media.
This is what we expect from the artist:
- Artists will use our instruments exclusively in all public performances
- Artists will use our instruments in videos if there's live footage involved
This endorsement should be mutually beneficial to both parties. Here are some extra things artists can do that will help us promote each other:
- Guitar play through videos are great to promote our instruments and to promote the artist's music
- Tagging #ThirdEyeGuitars on social media is a great and easy way to draw attention to us and to obtain reposts
- Promoting Third Eye Guitars® to fans and to other artists is a great help and shows us the artist's commitment
When the time comes for artists to purchase new gear, we will review the situation and the artists' commitment and decide if we increase the endorsement level.
